Jackets and shirts

Military clothing is primarily known and popular for its functionality and robustness, which is reflected in the number of used items of equipment or uniforms that find their way onto the civilian market through army shops. Be it from the Austrian Armed Forces or the German Bundeswehr. However, these items are usually discarded for good reason, are damaged or simply already outdated, as a lot has changed in this sector in the last 10 to 15 years and the products and accessories are constantly evolving.

In our shop you will find a well-stocked range of equipment in various categories. Materials and technologies from the world of sport are combined with the experience and requirements of specialised units. The result is robust, high-tech clothing that doesn't draw attention to itself with neon-coloured logos or absurd brand prices. A good example of this are the jackets from Carinthia, which have been setting standards in the field of cold protection for years.

For a long time, the military had a lot of catching up to do, especially when it came to jackets of this kind, as the outerwear issued for service often did not fulfil any of its intended functions and made life difficult for the wearer rather than making it easier. Anyone familiar with the Austrian Army's Service Suit 75 or the German Armed Forces' Flecktarn Field Suit can tell you a thing or two about this.

When it comes to equipment for police, security and law enforcement agencies, a lot of attention is now also paid to the concealed carrying of weapons and holsters. During operations, the equipment is stowed in the ‘civilian’ jacket, trousers or bag and is quickly to hand in an emergency situation.

Trousers and shorts

There have also been many positive changes in the area of military and tactical trousers in recent years. In addition to classic field trousers and modern combat trousers, the range and demand for products that are suitable for everyday use, more inconspicuous and not olive green in colour, continues to grow. These still include countless practical features such as concealed magazine pockets, reinforced knees and elasticated elements for greater freedom of movement, but no longer look like military clothing. In the past, army trousers and uniforms were simply produced in the colour black and marketed as civilian clothing.

The pioneer in this field was the US manufacturer 5.11, which designed and produced the official FBI service trousers according to its requirements and specifications. These essentially unchanged trousers are still the most popular and best-selling model in this area today. However, competition is fierce these days, with brands such as Helikon, ClawGear and Pentagon regularly outdoing each other with innovative designs and new materials. You are also spoilt for choice when it comes to the colours on offer.

Army, BW and police clothing shop
